Boat Regatta Celebrates Fisherwomen, Culture and Community Strength in Lagos
The waterways of Bariga in Lagos were transformed into a moving canvas of colour and culture on Friday as the Enatta Foundation Boat Regatta celebrated women in artisanal fishing communities.
The event, held on Ajayi Olaiya Street, off Majak Filling Station, Ilaje Ebute Road, brought together fisherwomen, youths, community leaders and government representatives.
